Trenchco Ltd was established in 1997 predominantly as a Groundworks company that specialised in the Construction of Basement Structures and a Piling Company. Within a few years, it became apparent that there was a great demand for restricted access piling and mini piling, not only for Basement Construction, but also for general groundworks, mainly in the London area. The majority of our projects still centre around difficult access and restricted Basement Construction. We work on all types of projects from single level private domestic basements to larger scale commercial projects, that have taken us five levels below ground. Apart from basements, we also carry out groundworks for private clients and predominantly blue chip companies.

Due to the restrictions on a lot of the sites we work on, Trenchco have built their own bespoke piling rigs with very high torque and very compact rigs for those restricted access sites which are all too common in London. This keeps all of our piling inhouse and gives a much better integration into the whole contract coordination and quality control. Trenchco also operates its own inhouse fleet of plant and vehicles, again to make the logistics of the sites more streamlined and efficient with our own fleet.
